We've noticed that several businesses in the region have been contacted by e-mail on behalf of the company Local Online . This scam has no connection with the Tourist Office or the Commune of Sierre.
On reading the terms and conditions, it becomes clear that this is an online city map and that the service costs 45.00/month for 24 months. Similarly, the city-plan.online website leads nowhere.
So don't reply to this e-mail!
On the other hand, the Tourist Office, the City of Sierre and surrounding municipalities are currently working on a new "paper" map, in close collaboration with the company BMS (brandmarkservices). This map will be distributed free of charge and made available to local residents and tourists.
