The fastest sprinters aged 7 to 15 in the local qualifying heats compete over 50, 60 or 80 metres for the coveted title.

The rules for taking part in a cantonal final vary from canton to canton. Take a close look at the qualification system in your canton. If you meet the criteria, you can register for the cantonal final under start opportunities. Remember, you can only take part in one cantonal final. Your Swiss Athletics club will determine which canton you belong to. If you are not a member of a club, your canton of residence is decisive.
