Synopsis: The school is empty, the grocery shop abandoned. In 2015, the inhabitants of Bratsch, a village in the Upper Valais, have dwindled to just a hundred or so. They decide to revive the village by putting the school at its centre. Damian Gsponer, a young educationalist, opened an innovative public school that turned the traditional school model on its head. The aim was to develop children according to their talents, without following a fixed curriculum. At Bratsch, learning takes place wherever there is an opportunity.
In the presence of Sérine, a Bratsch pupil.
