Séquoia Square – cultural space of railcars

This brand-new meeting space was inaugurated in the center of the city of Sierre. Its name, "Place du Séquoia", is a tribute to the beautiful tree that disappeared in favor of the south complex of the station.

Main purpose

This space, adjacent to the La Trouvaille building that hosts Aslec and EJMA, is intended to be welcoming, convivial and cultural. Its main objective is to promote social relations through exhibitions and various events. In this place there are two old wagons of the SBB. They have been parked there since the early 2000s and were last used for the 2002 National Exhibition. They offer a completely new exhibition space that will be used by the Chez Paou association from November 4 to 25 and by the talented graphic artists Océane Gillioz and Julien Valentini from December 2 to January 27.

Opening hours

The exhibitions are open on Thursdays from 16:30 to 20:00, each exhibition lasts one month and the vernissage always takes place on the first Thursday of the month.
