Festival de Courgemétrage

Screening of the 38 short films produced as part of the 10th Courge! competition.

For its tenth edition, the Festival de Courgemétrage (NE) has invited film-makers to take over the Café du Pont.

Situated below the Berthier bridge in the Serrières valley, this old Neuchâtel building has had several lives; first as a hairdressing salon, then as a restaurant renowned for its fried carp until 2005, it was finally abandoned and squatted. Since then, it has hosted concerts and festive evenings, and is now slated for demolition as part of a major property development.

The location has inspired the teams involved, with 38 short films delivered at the end of the shoot. The Valais public is invited to come and discover a selection of these at Sirre at the Hacienda on Friday 19 April from 7.30pm (doors open).
