The Chamber Wind Orchestra is taking on a new challenge by arranging and adapting classics from the history of rock! Symphonic Rock is an exceptional and unique opportunity to discover the solo line-up of the Chamber Wind Orchestra. A rock band has been specially assembled for the evening!
The Chamber Wind Orchestra (CWO) was born in 2009 out of a desire to create a unique and innovative ensemble, bringing together professional and amateur musicians from the Valais in search of new musical colours.
Aiming for excellence, the ensemble sees itself as a bridge between the canton's two linguistic regions, and as a constantly evolving creative tool offering rich, modern music. Performing on stages throughout the Valais, the CWO's projects give pride of place to composers of original music for wind ensemble, as well as to classical music.
