Lorène Quinodoz: singing and nykelharpa
A native of La Sage, Lorène Quinodoz discovered her passion for music at the age of 4, playing the piano. From 2015, she took singing and piano lessons at the Conservatoire Cantonal de Sion. After obtaining her singing certificate with honours, Lorène went on to obtain a Bachelor's degree in classical singing at the Hochschule der Künste Bern, with the support of the Friedl Wald and Fritz Gerber Foundation. She completed her academic career with a Master's degree in Performance in Tanja Ariane Baumgartner's class.
She developed a passion for traditional music, discovering the nyckelharpa and the yodel. In 2021, she took part in the Alpentöne festival and repeated the experience two years later with her nyckelharpa as part of SRG-SSR's ‘Young Talent from all over Switzerland’ project. Since 2022, she has been taking part in the Concerts du Cœur valaisans.

Laurine Marmi: oboe
Born in 1997 in the heart of Savoie, Laurine Marmi began playing the oboe at the age of 9 at her village music school. After leaving her skis behind, she obtained her diploma of musical studies from the Conservatoire de Chambéry in 2018. Keen to see the Alps from a different angle, she moved to Bern to study for her Bachelor's degree, which she will complete in 2021 at the Hochschule der Künste Bern, studying with Jaime Gonzalez. She will go on to study for a Master's degree in Music Performance, which she will complete in June 2023. At the same time, she is studying baroque oboe with Katharina Arfken at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. She performs with a number of ensembles and academies, including the Orchestre des Jeunes de Lyon, Die Freitagsakademie and the Jeune Orchestre Européen Hector Berlioz. She is also active in the amateur field, both in Switzerland and in France.
