With a simple, effective and humorous aesthetic, live music and sound effects, this playful and philosophical journey pays tribute to the freedom to be oneself.
It's the story of a strange record that sets out to find its missing part. And that of a little boy in search of his big whole. Will their paths cross? It's a wacky, tender story that raises some tough questions without seeming to: what are we missing to feel fulfilled and fulfilled? Can the other person make up for this lack? How can we be fully ourselves when we're with someone else?
Under the guise of apparent minimalism, Le petit bout manquant - adapted from a diptych by Shel Silverstein - has fun dissecting the ambivalence of human relationships. On a constantly moving game board, joys and hopes, fears and disappointments unfold as unlikely, surprising and disconcerting encounters unfold. With a simple, effective and humorous aesthetic, and music and sound effects created live on stage, this playful and philosophical journey pays tribute to the freedom to be oneself.
