Sierre Carnival

In the City of the Sun, neighbourhoods take turns each year to organise the festivities. After Glarey in 2025, Villa will have the privilege of organising the 2026 Sierre Carnival on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 February.
Under the theme of great civilisations, Villa will celebrate Ancient Greece, Muraz will be decked out in the colours of China and Glarey will pay tribute to Rome. The other neighbourhoods are still keeping their plans under wraps...

Come to Muraz for the party!

The event will take place at the Muraz gym, the epicentre of two days of madness. Floats, bands and guggenmusik will set the streets and stage alight:

• The Fife and Drums of Villa
• The Fife and Drums of Borzuat
• The Tambours and Fifres sierrois
• The Guggen des Los Diablos de Chippis
• The Guggen Frat’de Noës
• The Teruk
• The Guggen Les Pédaleurs de Savièse...

not to mention other surprises to come!

And that's not all: DJ Sly, from the #enpistes tour organised by Le Nouvelliste, will be getting Muraz dancing with his wild rhythms on both evenings. The gods of Olympus had better watch out!
