Frances Ward, a seaweed enthusiast and adventurer at heart, is about to leave everything behind to realise her dream of creating a seaweed farm off the west coast of Canada. SEND KELP follows her journey across the vastness of the Pacific, where her ambition is to set up one of the first farms of its kind in British Columbia. But to make the most of this precious resource, she will need to surround herself with scientists, wild seaweed gatherers and savvy entrepreneurs capable of navigating the challenges and promises of this fascinating organism. In the course of her adventure, Frances will discover that seaweed is not only a solution for the planet, but also a source of hope for herself.
