Christian Chamorel, piano

Christian Chamorel is a pianist from the French-speaking part of Switzerland who has won international acclaim for his expressive, stylish playing. Specialising in Lieder and chamber music, he is highly regarded for his musicality and sense of sharing. Trained in Lausanne, Fribourg, Munich and Zurich, he holds several solo and chamber music diplomas. A winner of prestigious competitions, he performs with numerous orchestras in Switzerland and abroad. His award-winning recordings cover a wide classical repertoire. He recently became professor of piano at the HEMU in Fribourg.

Hans-Peter Pfammatter, piano
Hans-Peter Pfammatter is a leading Valais pianist on the contemporary jazz scene, renowned for his inventiveness, technical mastery and taste for sound experimentation. He moves between acoustic and electronic jazz, leaving his mark on numerous projects with his unique style, whether with the group Scope, the quartet Le Pot or Christy Doran's New Bag. Trained in Bern and Lucerne, he has also been a professor at the HSLU since 2000, and composes for the theatre and film. Despite his interest in electronics, he remains deeply rooted in a lyrical and expressive acoustic approach to the piano.
