Discover various small structures and their importance for local wildlife.
Stone heaps, piles of dead wood and branches, and other natural structures provide refuge for many native species. In our gardens and farmland, these small structures have generally been eliminated for aesthetic or practical reasons. During this course, you will learn how to plan, build and maintain various natural structures in accordance with the rules of the art, so that they can serve as breeding grounds, refuge or winter quarters for our native fauna.
