Opening of Eric Bovisi's exhibition

A contemporary artist based in Sierre, Éric Bovisi has been exploring a rich and daring visual language for over thirty years.
Since 2023, he has been illustrating the fantastic worlds of author Véronique Bourguinet, populated by polymorphous creatures and strange dreams. Their collaboration, a back-and-forth between text and image, gave rise to ‘EXO’, a collection of four illustrated short stories combining fiction and visual art.
This project opened up new horizons in his work, with blurring, watercolour and mixed techniques. He experimented with unusual materials - sand, salt, soap - to evoke extraterrestrial landscapes, with mists, vapours and cosmic visions.
