At 28, Velia Ferracini is emerging as a unique voice in French-language literature. Originally from Sion, she combines a thesis on Swiss literature in Fribourg with socially engaged writing. Her novel Lave mes cendres, supported by a Littérature Pro grant, draws its inspiration from a volcanic eruption.
