Les Nuits de Bessarabie, formed by brilliant soloists from the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, transport you to the Jewish villages of the early 20th century with a repertoire based on melodies collected in Ukraine in the 1920s and 1930s.
With echoes of Middle Eastern music and the dazzling rhythms of Eastern European dances, klezmer is a music where tears and laughter intermingle.
