At last, I can vote!

Every year, a significant number of residents in the municipality acquire new political rights through naturalisation or civic promotion.
Unfortunately, some of them will not exercise these rights, for various reasons, including a lack of understanding of how to vote and/or stand for election.
To encourage their participation in civic life, we are offering a training course, which is also open to other municipalities in the district of Sierre and their elected representatives.
The practical workshops provide participants with the opportunity to handle voting equipment and familiarise themselves with the different types of elections and political parties. To facilitate these sessions, the presence of politicians from each town is requested, ensuring a balanced political representation.
