A feature film about the racing driver Roger Rey
Roger Rey raced alongside Niki Lauda, Alain Prost, Jo Siffert, Graham Hill and Stirling Moss. Thirty years later, his wife Marylou asks him to get back behind the wheel. Just as Roger rediscovers the thrill of speed and reunites with his friends, Marylou is admitted to hospital. She makes him promise to take part in one last European race in her honour. But Roger is 84 and his car is 40… Together with his mechanic Jean-Michel, Roger embarks on a wild swan song that will become much more than a motoring adventure: a tribute to love, friendship and his unbridled zest for life.
A feature-length documentary film directed by Gaël Métroz. The screening will be followed by a discussion between the director and the audience.
