SPECTRAL RESONANCE – EXHIBITION by NES LERPA

A Danish-born artist, Nes Lerpa has, for several decades, been developing a body of pictorial work deeply characterised by colour, gesture, texture and a spiritual dimension. In residence at ARTS – Caves de Courten since 2025, he presented his first exhibition there, entitled *Les Couleurs du Temps*.
With *LES COULEURS DU TEMPS* — SPECTRAL RESONANCE, Nes Lerpa now continues this exploration through a new exhibition of paintings, bringing together selected works from the first exhibition alongside new creations. More than a mere repetition, this second instalment offers a fresh perspective on his pictorial universe: familiar works find new connections, whilst the previously unseen paintings extend and shift the dialogue initiated during the first exhibition. This exhibition thus bears witness to a body of work in constant flux, where time is not merely the subject of the painting, but also becomes an integral part of the creative process: what has been painted endures, returns, transforms and resonates with what has just been created.
