This 6.7 km ascent with nearly 1000 m of elevation gain is accessible a good part of the year thanks to its full south exposure. After crossing the town of Sierre and passing in front of the Villa Castle, the path traverses the Venthône vineyards before entering the forest after Darnona. The steepest part follows until Bluche, before arriving at the center of Crans-Montana, in front of the Tourist Office. Take time to look back during the ascent, as the view of the plain, then gradually of the snow-capped 4000 m peaks of the imperial crown is worth it!

In Crans-Montana, many other activities are possible: walks, golf, events, or simply a nice terrace by a lake in the resort.
| Turn-by-turn directions | From the Sierre Tourist Office, ascend towards the Villa district then, after passing in front of the Castle, continue through the vineyards towards Darnona-d'en-Bas. Continue via Darnona-d'en-Haut up to the summit limit of the vineyards and enter the forest until Saint-Maurice-de-Laques. The ascent continues more or less along the funicular towards Bluche. Cross the village and the cantonal road twice towards Marigny then, the last section passes above the cemetery until the center of Montana. |
