Programme for the day

• 10.00 am – 5.00 pm: Guided tours of the Maison du Remuage every 20 minutes (book on the day, 15 people per group)
• 11.00 am: Speech and drinks reception
• 12.00 pm: Musical entertainment by the Fifres et tambours de la Gougra 
• 2.00 pm: Talk on transhumance in the Sierre and Val d’Anniviers region by Armand Savioz (author of *Anniviers, le yin et yang occidental, Anthropologie de la vie alpine d’autrefois*, published by Georg)
• 2.00 pm : Guided tour of the Maison du Remuage by Louis-Fred Tonossi, historical guide of Sierre
• 2.00 pm: Musical entertainment by the Fifres et tambours de la Gougra 
• 3.00 pm: Guided tour of the Maison du Remuage by Muriel Borgeat-Theler, historian and research associate at the Museum of Vines and Wine
• 3.00 pm: Musical entertainment by the Toba d’Anivyé (Alpine horns)
• 4.30 pm: Musical performance by the Toba d’Anivyé (Alpine horns)
• 6.00 pm: End of the event

• Refreshments and food available on site (grilled meats and raclette)

​Meeting point: Right on the main square at the Varen, Frayen bus stop

• 9.45 am to 10.15 am: welcome with coffee and croissants
• From 10.00 am : Guided cultural walk

- 1st leg: Varen → Salgesch
Historical anecdotes, culinary stops and regional specialities
Stop-off in Salgesch, Eischlergässi
Guided tour and aperitif

- 2nd leg: Onwards from Salgesch → Sierre

- Final stop in Sierre, Maison du Remuage
Guided tour and closing tasting
Neighbourhood party, concerts and a chance to socialise
