Wine Museum - Salgesch

The Valais is an ancient wine-growing region, distinguished by the quality and diversity of its wines.

In the wine-growing village of Salgesch, the Wine Museum traces the history of this exceptional viticulture, nourished by tradition and passion. The thirteen rooms of the museum present all the facets of a unique heritage: the know-how of the men and women winegrowers, the role of the terroirs, the harvest, the secrets of cellaring and the art of wine tasting.

Located in the heart of the Valais, the Wine Museum comprises two exhibition areas, in Sierre and Salgesch, and a six-kilometre wine trail linking the two sites.
