The oldest running event in the Valais, for over 50 years it has brought together all generations for a family-friendly sporting event in early spring in Sierre.
Dedicated to children, but also to adults (both popular and elite), the Course du Soleil aims to promote health through sport.
Previously organised around Lac de Géronde, since 2022 it has been held on the Ecossia sports site in Noës. The distances are almost identical to those of the old Géronde course.
