A feudal castle built between 1245 and 1250 by Pierre III de la Tour, known as Morestel, it took its name in honour of his grandmother, born "de Morestel".
The town house is distinguished by its dazzling white facades, which emphasise its elegance. The castle's cellars house a carnotzet reserved for official receptions and courteous exchanges of public interest.
