Fascinated by facial expressions, it is important to Fabienne Degoumois to capture those that embellish a person. For her, photography is a way of meeting people and forging links. In fact, she likes to offer a photo accompanied by a small handwritten card to the person photographed.
Attracted by the spontaneity of children and their ability to live in the moment, she has long photographed them. When she set up as a home physiotherapist, she wanted to look at the adults she would be treating. Working on the body in the environment of the person being treated fosters a special bond that she sometimes immortalises during the last session.
This exhibition highlights some of the portraits she has taken.
