Fuego Quinteto

The Fuego Quinteto carries a profound poetic and emotional message, conveying the energy and madness of Buenos Aires, its smoky atmospheres, veiled feelings and nostalgic love.

Internationally renowned artists, whose artistic achievements place each of them among the best of their generation, William Sabatier (bandoneonist, initiator of numerous projects, including for theatre and dance, in concert with the Swiss quartet Terpsycordes), Svetlin Roussev (violinist, ardent interpreter of Slavic music and propagator admired and praised in his country of origin, Bulgaria), Lionel Monnet (pianist from Valais, member of the Trio Nota Bene, founder and artistic director of Espace Consonnance), Irina-Kalina Goudeva (double bass player involved in numerous projects, founder of the Ikana Art Studio) and George Vassilev (guitarist of Bulgarian origin, much in demand as a chamber musician). All are virtuosos on their instruments, bringing spellbinding music, refined taste and sublime perfection to their performances. The quintet presents audiences with a moving performance, in which instrumental virtuosity and rhythmic and harmonic complexity express passion and melancholy, freedom, hope and despair.
