Originally from Orsières, Yves MOULIN quickly developed a passion for the accordion. At the age of 14, he took his first steps on stage.
In 2006, Yves joined the National and International Centre for Accordionists (CNIMA) in Auvergne with Jacques Mornet, and distinguished himself in numerous national competitions (Switzerland and France), as well as international competitions, notably in the United States and Russia. He also took courses at the Conservatoire de Genneviliers in Paris, where he was awarded a gold medal in instrument and chamber music in 2008.
Today, Yves Moulin is considered the spearhead of the accordion in Switzerland and an ambassador for this instrument abroad. He enjoys democratising and revamping this instrument, which is not reserved for popular folklore.
