Inspired by the concept of Pékin Express, the event sends teams of two to three participants off to discover unusual places in the Sierre region, without phones or money, solving puzzles and challenges at each stage to obtain the next clue.
Now a fixture in the Sierre calendar, Sierre Express returns on 13 June for an 8th edition full of surprises. The concept: teams of two to three participants set off across the region under their own steam, without external resources. At each stage, a puzzle or challenge awaits them; only success reveals the next destination.
The Place du Séquoia will host the festive heart of the day: food and drink stalls, face painting for children from 1 pm to 5 pm, a concert by The Anthony’s at 3 pm and the prize-giving ceremony at 6 pm.
This year, the JCI is partnering with the ASLEC (Association Sierroise de Loisirs et Culture), which will be present all day with dedicated entertainment and will receive a donation cheque during the awards ceremony.
Volunteers are welcome to join the organising team.
