Musical round table
‘MusikValais – The Musical Diversity of Valais’ brings together professional musicians from a wide variety of backgrounds. Classical music, lieder, chanson, jazz and free improvisation come together through a constantly evolving mix of soloists and ensembles.
Featuring Valérie Beney (vocals), Jonas Imhof (percussion), Bettina Herzog (accordion) and Daniel Blatter (vocals and guitar). Moving beyond their own artistic worlds, the artists come together on stage, engage in musical dialogue and forge new musical connections. Short, moderated segments punctuate the evening and also offer a glimpse into the professional lives of musicians in Valais, their career paths and the realities of their craft.
An evening of contrasts, encounters and surprises – an invitation to discover the full richness of Valais’s music scene in a new light.
