In November 2026, the choirs and brass bands of the Noble-Contrée will join forces with the Chippis Choral Society to perform Karl Jenkins’ ‘L’Homme armé’, a mass for peace. More than 200 amateur musicians and choristers will bring the church in Chippis to life during three exceptional concerts.
Born out of the merger of the municipalities of Miège, Venthône and Veyras, this collective endeavour embodies the spirit of collaboration, community engagement and the richness of the region’s musical heritage. Far more than just a concert, it is a work that blends Eastern and Western traditions, the memory of war and a call for reconciliation.
In a world riven by tensions and divisions, ‘L’Homme armé’ invites us to listen, to reflect and to believe, together, in the power of peace.
Join us on 13, 14 and 15 November 2026 at the church in Chippis for an intense musical experience.
