Concours de cartes postales

 

The aim of this competition is to highlight postcards within Sierre Tourism and thus promote the heritage of the city of sunshine. Postcards are a tangible object, a means of communication, a way of promoting a region and a tangible souvenir for everyone.

At the end of the competition, which will conclude with an opening night reception, the jury will award prizes to the winners.

1st prize, offered by the Culture Department of the City of Sierre: CHF 1,000
2nd prize, offered by the Bourgeoisie of Sierre: CHF 500
3rd prize, offered by Enseignex: CHF 200
Audience prize, offered by Payot: voucher worth CHF 100.- 

The four winning images will be printed as postcards and sold at the Sierre Tourist Office.

Participants will choose one or more elements that represent the heritage of the town of Sierre. This could be a castle, a church, a railway station, a typical house, a fountain, a square or a remarkable site...

All forms of creative expression are permitted (photography, drawing, collage, painting, etc.).

The competition entry must be submitted in the following format :

• Format: PDF
• Size: A4 (portrait or landscape)
• Minimum resolution: 300dpi
• ⚠️ No applications will be accepted by post or handed in at the counter! All applications must be submitted digitally using the form below.

The competition is free and open to :

• For amateurs and professionals
• For anyone over the age of 18

The competition is closed :

• To the members of the jury
• To those directly involved in the organisation, production, implementation, promotion and running of the competition

⚠️The competition is limited to one entry per person!

 

Visuals must be submitted between 3 December 2025 and 11 February 2026 at 11:59 p.m. using the form below.

1. The Tourist Office will receive the applications and preselect the best visuals, which will be published on Instagram and Facebook.
2. The public will vote for the winner of the ‘People's Choice Award’ (based on the number of votes cast on both networks) from among the selected entries.
3. The jury will vote to select the Top 3 from among the selected entries.
4. Once the online voting and jury selection are complete, the three winners and the winner of the People's Choice Award, along with the most liked images on the platforms, will be invited to exhibit their work at the opening. The results and prizes will be announced and awarded at the opening.
