Favre t'Chippis - Chippis

Born into a family of winegrowers, Romain Favre has been immersed in the world of the vine ever since he was a child. Now a graduate oenologist at Changins, he embodies the new generation of Valais winegrowers, producing top-quality wines.

Romain grew up surrounded by his family's vineyards, dreaming of bringing their potential to life. One day, frustrated at seeing their grapes being sent to the cooperative, he took a radical decision: to leave his business training to follow his passion. Now a qualified oenologist from Changins, he is taking his inspiration from the best of the best to gradually develop the family's 6 hectares of vines, bringing out the best in emblematic grape varieties such as Rèze and Savagnin Blanc (Heida). Romain's aim is to make wines that reflect his own image, that are authentic and reflect both the terroir and his commitment to excellence.
